Description

A spooky treat perfect for Halloween parties that glows in the dark and offers a fun, interactive kitchen activity.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package (3 oz) flavored gelatin (such as grape, lime, or orange)
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Spider-shaped candy molds (optional)
  • Edible glow-in-the-dark food coloring (ensure it’s safe for consumption)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the spider molds and lollipop sticks with non-stick spray.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the flavored gelatin, stirring until fully dissolved. Mix in the glow-in-the-dark coloring.
  4. Pour the mixture into prepared molds, insert lollipop sticks, and let cool for 1-2 hours.
  5. Once solid, gently remove from molds and charge under light to activate the glow.

Notes

Try different flavored gelatins for variations. These lollipops can last for several weeks when stored correctly.
