Description

Create your very own glow-in-the-dark slime, a fun and interactive craft that dazzles in the dark!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup white school glue
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (with boric acid)
  • 12 teaspoons glow-in-the-dark powder (or neon paint)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon for stirring

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture by combining 1/2 cup of white school glue with 1/2 cup of water in a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir until well mixed and the glue is dissolved.
  3. Add 1-2 teaspoons of glow-in-the-dark powder to your mixture.
  4. If using paint, add it in the same amount. Optionally, add a few drops of food coloring.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda, stirring thoroughly until combined.
  6. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution while stirring continuously.
  7. Once the slime starts pulling away from the bowl, take it out and knead it with your hands.

Notes

Store your slime in an airtight container to keep its glow and texture.
