Description

Create your own mesmerizing glow in the dark slime for hours of interactive play and fun.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 teaspoons glow in the dark powder (or glow in the dark paint)
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (contains boric acid)
  • Optional: food coloring (for added color)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Find a clean, flat surface to work on. Cover it with newspaper or a plastic tablecloth to ease cleanup.
  2. Combine Glue and Water: In a bowl, mix 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of water. Stir until well combined, creating a smooth mixture.
  3. Add Baking Soda: Stir in 1 tablespoon of baking soda. This will help the slime achieve the right texture.
  4. Mix in Glow Powder: Gradually add 1 to 2 teaspoons of glow in the dark powder (or paint) to the glue mixture. Stir well until the glow material is evenly distributed.
  5. Activate the Slime: Add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution to the mixture and stir. You’ll notice the mixture starting to thicken.
  6. Knead the Slime: Use your hands to knead the slime until it reaches a smooth and stretchy consistency. If it feels too sticky, add a bit more contact solution.
  7. Store Properly: Place the slime in an airtight container when not in use to keep it fresh and prevent it from drying out.

Notes

Customize your slime by adding food coloring or textures like foam balls and glitter for a unique experience.
