Description

An exciting DIY slime recipe that glows in the dark, perfect for kids and science exploration.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (must contain boric acid)
  • 12 teaspoons glow in the dark paint or powder
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of warm water. Stir until fully blended.
  2. Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
  3. Add 1-2 teaspoons of glow in the dark paint or powder. Stir until combined. Add food coloring if desired.
  4. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution and mix continuously until the slime begins to form.
  5. Remove the slime from the bowl and knead it with your hands for improved texture.
  6. Place the finished slime in an airtight container to keep it fresh.

Notes

To maximize glow, expose the slime to light before using in the dark. Make sure to supervise small children during play.
