Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup liquid laundry detergent (or contact lens solution)
  • 1 tablespoon glow-in-the-dark paint or powder
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Airtight container for storage

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and ensure your workspace is clean.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the white school glue and water. Stir until well blended.
  3. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring, then add the glow-in-the-dark paint or powder and stir thoroughly.
  4. Gradually add the cornstarch to the mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Slowly mix in the liquid laundry detergent (or contact lens solution) until the slime starts to form.
  6. Take the slime out of the bowl and knead with your hands until smooth.
