Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup clear glue (like Elmer’s)
  • ½ cup warm water
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • Glow-in-the-dark paint or powder
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • A shallow dish or tray
  • Wax paper or parchment paper
  • Craft sticks or spoons for mixing
  • Snowflake templates (printable or drawn)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ½ cup of clear glue with ½ cup of warm water. Stir well until combined.
  2. Gradually add 1 cup of baking soda. Mix until fully combined. The mixture should be thick and tacky.
  3. If you want a colored glow, now’s the time to add a few drops of food coloring. Mix in glow-in-the-dark paint or powder until even.
  4. Lay wax paper or parchment paper on a flat surface and spoon or spread the mixture onto it using snowflake templates.
  5. Let your snowflakes dry for at least 24 hours.
  6. Once completely dry, carefully peel them off the wax paper. Your glowing snowflakes are ready!
