Instructions
- In a small container, mix 1 cup of baking soda with 3/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup of corn syrup. Stir with a spoon until well combined, achieving a thick, paste-like texture.
- If desired, incorporate a few drops of food coloring into the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
- On a sheet of wax paper or foil, use your spoon to shape the tree trunk and branches creatively.
- Place your shaped tree in a shallow dish and let it sit undisturbed at room temperature for 24-48 hours to allow crystals to form.
- Once dried, you can enhance the glow effect by applying glow-in-the-dark paint, following the paint’s application instructions.
- After everything is dry, display your crystal tree in a dark area or near a light source to charge its glow and enjoy your creation!
