Description

Create a stunning glow-in-the-dark crystal heart that combines artistry with science, perfect for decorations or gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup clear glue (such as PVA or white school glue)
  • 3 tablespoons Borax powder
  • 1 cup water
  • A jar or container (for crystal growth)
  • A small amount of glow-in-the-dark paint or powder
  • A heart-shaped cookie cutter or mold
  • Spoon for stirring
  • Measuring cup
  • Craft stick for stirring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure out 1 cup of water and heat it until it’s hot but not boiling.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of Borax to the hot water and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Mix in a small amount of glow-in-the-dark paint or powder until well distributed.
  4. Place your heart-shaped cookie cutter in a shallow dish and pour the mixture into it until filled.
  5. Set aside for 24 hours to allow crystals to form.
  6. Carefully remove the heart from the mold and let it dry on a flat surface for an additional hour.

Notes

Customize colors and sizes using different glow-in-the-dark paints and cookie cutters. Store your crystals in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their glow.
