Description

A fun and easy project to create vibrant glow-in-the-dark chalk for creative expression.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of cornstarch
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of glow-in-the-dark pigment (non-toxic)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Silicone molds or parchment paper
  • Paintbrush (for application)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of cornstarch with 1 cup of water and stir until smooth.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of glow-in-the-dark pigment and optional food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  3. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or onto parchment paper, tapping lightly to remove air bubbles.
  4. Allow the chalk to dry for 24-48 hours until fully set.
  5. Remove the chalk from molds or parchment and test in a dark room to see it glow!

Notes

Experiment with colors and shapes. For longer glow duration, adjust the pigment amount used.
