Description

A delightful craft project combining science and creativity, resulting in a mesmerizing glowing display.


Ingredients

  • Clear glass jar or container
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Food coloring (neon colors work best)
  • Glow-in-the-dark paint or powder
  • Water
  • Spoon for mixing
  • Optional: Glitter for extra sparkle

Instructions

  1. Clean and dry your jar thoroughly. Add 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda to the bottom of the jar.
  2. If using glow-in-the-dark powder or paint, sprinkle it or paint the inside of the jar.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of water with a few drops of food coloring.
  4. Slowly pour the colored water into the jar with the baking soda.
  5. Turn off the lights and observe your jar glow in the dark! Optional: Add glitter for a magical touch!
