Description

A fun and engaging DIY project that creates a mesmerizing glitter tornado in a tube, perfect for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • Clear plastic tube with cap
  • Distilled water
  • Vegetable oil
  • Assorted glitter (fine and chunky)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Funnel (for easy pouring)
  • Stir stick or spoon

Instructions

  1. Make sure the plastic tube is clean and dry. Remove the cap.
  2. Pour distilled water into the tube, filling it about one-third of the way. Add food coloring if desired.
  3. Add vegetable oil until the tube is nearly full, leaving space at the top for the cap.
  4. Use a funnel to sprinkle in your desired amount of glitter.
  5. Seal the cap tightly to prevent leaks. Shake or turn the tube to create the glitter tornado.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and glitter types. Use other oils to alter glitter movement or add small items like sequins for fun.
