Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup dish soap (preferably concentrated)
- 6 cups distilled water
- 1/2 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
- Large container for mixing
- Whisk or spoon for stirring
- Bubble wands (can be homemade with string and straws)
- Baking sheet or shallow tray (for dipping)
Instructions
- In a large container, combine 1 cup dish soap, 6 cups distilled water, and 1/2 cup corn syrup. Stir slowly with a whisk or spoon for 5-10 minutes.
- Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to an hour or overnight.
- If using DIY wands, thread a length of string through two straws to form a loop and tie it.
- Pour bubble solution into a shallow tray. Dip your wand into the solution for a few seconds, then gently blow or wave it to create bubbles.
- Watch your bubbles float away and experiment with techniques to see how big you can make them.
Notes
