Description
Create fun and spooky Ghostly Air Pressure Bags that enhance your Halloween décor and engage kids and adults in a hands-on scientific experience.
Ingredients
- Clear plastic zip-top bags
- Water
- Food coloring (optional)
- Small plastic ghosts or Halloween-themed decorations
- Scissors
- Tape
- Straw (optional)
Instructions
- Fill the Bags: Take the clear plastic zip-top bag and fill it with about half a cup of water.
- Add Color: If you’d like to create a more colorful effect, add a few drops of food coloring to the water.
- Insert Ghosts: Place small plastic ghosts or your chosen decorations inside the bag on one side.
- Seal the Bag: Carefully zip the bag to avoid any water spillage but leave a small opening.
- Remove Air: Use your straw to suck out as much air as possible from the bag. If you don’t have a straw, gently press the bag to expel air before sealing it completely.
- Seal Tightly: Ensure the zip is fully closed and optionally use tape to reinforce the seal.
- Hang or Place: Use tape to hang the bags on walls or windows, or place them on a table for an added eerie effect.
Notes
You can personalize your bags with different themes and colors. They can last for several days if handled carefully.
