Description

Create vibrant gelatine flower suncatchers that brighten up your home and provide a fun crafting experience for all ages.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatine powder
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Fresh or dried flowers (edible or decorative)
  • Silicone flower molds
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • Scissors (if needed)
  • Decorative ribbon or string (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of gelatine powder and stir until dissolved.
  2. Separate the mixture into different bowls and add drops of food coloring to each, mixing until desired shades are achieved.
  3. Place flowers in the silicone molds, arranging them as preferred.
  4. Carefully pour the colored gelatine mixture over the flowers in the molds until full.
  5. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours or until the gelatine is firm.
  6. Once set, gently remove the suncatchers from the molds and attach decorative ribbon or string if desired.

Notes

Experiment with different molds and add edible glitter for an extra sparkly touch.
