- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon essential oil or fragrance oil
- Food coloring (optional)

Instructions
- In a small pot, heat 1 cup of water on the stove. Slowly sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- Once the gelatin dissolves completely, add 1 tablespoon of salt. This helps preserve the mixture. Stir in your chosen essential oil or fragrance oil. Adjust the amount based on the desired scent strength. If using, add a few drops of food coloring until you achieve your preferred hue.
- Remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Pour the gel into decorative jars, molds, or shapes of your choice. Allow it to set at room temperature for several hours until solid.
- If desired, tie a ribbon around the neck of the jar or mold as a decorative touch. Once firmly set, your gel air freshener ornaments are ready to use!
