Description

Engage in a delightful bubble art activity that blends creativity and science, allowing you to create mesmerizing designs with bubbles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup liquid dish soap
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Straws
  • Shallow dish or container
  • Paper or cardstock
  • Large tray (for easy cleanup)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of dish soap.
  2. Add a few drops of food coloring if using, and stir gently to avoid foam.
  3. Insert a straw into the bubble solution, ensuring it’s submerged but not touching the bottom.
  4. Gently blow through the straw to create bubbles, experimenting with breath pressure.
  5. Hold a piece of paper above the bubbles without touching them.
  6. As the bubbles pop, the liquid will land on the paper, creating unique patterns.
  7. Set the artwork aside to dry completely, which may take an hour or two.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and paper textures for unique effects.
