Description

Ingredients

  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Small plastic or paper cups
  • Tray or baking sheet
  • Ice cube tray or molds
  • Plastic wrap
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Create Ice Blocks: Fill ice cube trays with water and add food coloring, then freeze overnight.
  2. Set Up the Base: Place small cups on a tray or baking sheet.
  3. Add Baking Soda: Spoon a generous amount of baking soda into each cup.
  4. Unwrap the Ice: Remove colored ice cubes and place one on top of the baking soda in each cup.
  5. Prepare the Eruption: Mix vinegar with a bit of food coloring in a separate container.
  6. Create the Explosion: Pour the colored vinegar over the ice cubes and observe the eruption!
  7. Enjoy: Watch the vibrant lava flow down the sides of the cup.

Notes
