Description

An engaging and educational craft activity where participants create frozen ocean animals and rescue them, combining creativity with marine life education.

Ingredients

  • Freezer-safe molds (shapes of ocean animals)
  • Water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Toy ocean animals or homemade clay versions
  • Plastic utensils (for crafting)
  • Salt (for creating ice textures)
  • Warm water (to help melt the ice)
  • Towels or trays (for easy cleanup)

Instructions

  1. Select your molds and place a toy ocean animal or crafted clay version in each one.
  2. Fill a bowl with water. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring for a fun effect.
  3. Carefully pour the colored water into the molds, covering the toys completely. Transfer the molds to the freezer and let them freeze for several hours or overnight.
  4. Once frozen, remove the ice blocks from the molds.
  5. Pour warm water over the ice blocks to help melt them and release the toys.

Notes

Customize colors to represent various ocean environments and incorporate textures using seashells or beads.
