Description

Make delightful frozen treats that resemble colorful fireworks for a fun and educational activity.

Ingredients

  • Ice cube trays or silicone molds
  • Fruit juices (e.g., apple, grape, cranberry)
  • Gel food coloring (various colors)
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Water
  • A tray or baking sheet (for easy transport to the freezer)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a variety of fruit juices in separate bowls.
  2. Add a few drops of gel food coloring to enhance the juice colors.
  3. Pour a thin layer of one juice into the ice cube trays or molds and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  4. Layer additional colors on top, alternating until the molds are full.
  5. Insert popsicle sticks into the center when the final layer is almost frozen.
  6. Freeze completely for 4-6 hours, then unmold and enjoy your colorful creations.

Notes

Try using lemonade or yogurt for different flavors, and incorporate whole fruit pieces for added texture.
