Description

Engaging craft activity that combines creativity with sensory play, perfect for kids to explore the wonders of science and imagination.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Plastic dinosaur toys
  • 2 cups baking soda
  • 1 cup water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Ice cube tray or muffin tin
  • A mixing bowl
  • Vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of baking soda with 1 cup of water. Stir well until you achieve a dry, crumbly texture.
  2. Add a few drops of food coloring to customize your mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Place a small dinosaur toy in each section of your ice cube tray or muffin tin. Fill the compartments with your baking soda mixture.
  4. Place the tray in the freezer for at least 240-360 minutes or until completely solid.
  5. Remove the frozen dinosaur eggs from the tray. If needed, use a bit of force to get them out. For added fun, pour vinegar on the eggs for a fizzing reaction.

Notes

Customize the egg size and colors, or use different small toys for added excitement.
