Spooky and fun Frankenstein Marshmallows that are perfect for Halloween parties and gatherings.
Ingredients
- Large marshmallows
- Green candy melts (or chocolate melts colored green)
- Black candy melts (for details)
- Edible eyes (candy or chocolate)
- Piping bag or small ziplock bag
- Toothpicks or lollipop sticks
- Parchment paper
- Microwave-safe bowls
Instructions
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper for cooling.
- Gather all materials and set up your workspace.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the green candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
- Dip each marshmallow into the melted green candy, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow excess to drip off.
- Place the coated marshmallows on the parchment paper to cool and set.
- Melt black candy melts in a separate bowl.
- Use a piping bag or a ziplock with a tiny corner cut off to draw eyes, scars, or stitches on the marshmallows.
- Gently press the edible eyes onto each marshmallow before the black candy melts harden.
- If desired, insert toothpicks or lollipop sticks into the bottom of each marshmallow for easy handling.
Notes
Swap green melts for purple or orange for different Halloween creatures. Can be made a few days in advance and stored covered at room temperature.
