Description
Transform your bath into a colorful, relaxing experience with homemade Foaming Rainbow Rain Showers. These vibrant bath bombs are easy to make and customizable to your preferences.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/2 cup Epsom salt
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2–3 teaspoons water
- 2–3 teaspoons essential oil (lavender, eucalyptus, etc.)
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Silicone molds or muffin tin
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and cornstarch. Stir thoroughly to ensure no clumps remain.
- In a separate smaller bowl, combine essential oil and water. Slowly add this mixture to the dry ingredients, one teaspoon at a time. Mix until the mixture resembles damp sand; it should hold together when squeezed.
- Divide the mixture into separate bowls, depending on how many colors you want to create. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl—experiment to achieve your desired shades. Mix thoroughly until the color is evenly distributed.
- Pack each colored mixture tightly into your silicone molds or muffin tin. Leave some space if you’re layering colors; gently spoon on the next color, packing it down as you go.
- Let the molds sit for at least 24 hours to dry completely before carefully removing the bombs.
Notes
You can customize scents, add textures like dried flowers, and use different molds for fun shapes.
