  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • Various colors of food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon dish soap
  • Spoon for mixing
  • Optional: glitter for extra sparkle

Instructions

  1. Prepare your container by selecting a clear jar.
  2. Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the bottom of the jar.
  3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of dish soap over the baking soda.
  4. Add several drops of food coloring into the jar.
  5. Slowly pour 1 cup of vinegar over the mixture.
  6. Step back and enjoy the eruption as it foams and bubbles!

Notes

For a fizzy eruption, you can use carbonated water instead of vinegar. Experiment with different types of dish soap for varying foam effects.
