- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the milk and honey (if using) and stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and pat into a rectangle about 1 inch thick.
- Use a round cutter to cut out the biscuits.
- Place biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
You can add cheese or herbs for added flavor. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for later use.
