Description

A delightful DIY project to create vibrant suncatchers using fresh flower petals and gelatin.


Ingredients

  • Fresh flower petals (e.g., daisies, violets, pansies)
  • Clear gelatin
  • Water
  • Flat surface (e.g., baking sheet)
  • Wax paper
  • Scissors
  • String or fishing line for hanging

Instructions

  1. Gather your fresh flower petals, ensuring they are clean and dry.
  2. Dissolve gelatin in warm water according to package instructions and let it cool slightly.
  3. Line a flat surface with wax paper and pour a thin layer of the gelatin mixture onto it.
  4. Carefully place the flower petals onto the gelatin layer and press down gently.
  5. Pour another layer of gelatin over the petals and let it set until firm.
  6. Once set, peel the suncatcher off the wax paper, trim the edges, and attach a string or fishing line for hanging.

Notes
