- Small foam balls or polystyrene balls (various sizes)

Instructions
- Start by cleaning the glass jar thoroughly to ensure it’s clear and free of any residue.
- Fill the jar about two-thirds full with water and add drops of blue and black food coloring until you achieve a deep, cosmic hue.
- Paint the foam balls using vibrant colors to represent the planets. Each planet can be painted differently.
- Let the painted balls dry completely.
- Cut lengths of string or fishing line to the desired lengths for hanging the planets, and attach the string to the top of each planet with hot glue.
- Carefully drop the planets into the jar, positioning them at varying heights using the string.
- If desired, sprinkle some glitter or sparkle into the water for added effect.
- Secure the lid on the jar once you are satisfied with the arrangement.
