Description
Delightful star-shaped ice cubes filled with fruity flavors that add flair to your beverages, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of your favorite fruit juice (like orange, cranberry, or pineapple)
- 1 cup of sparkling water or lemon-lime soda
- Fresh berries or citrus slices (optional, for garnish)
- Star-shaped ice cube tray
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of fruit juice with 1 cup of sparkling water. Stir gently to maintain the fizz.
- If desired, add fresh berries or small citrus slices to the mixture for an extra burst of flavor.
- Carefully pour the juice mixture into the star-shaped ice cube tray, filling each mold about three-quarters full to allow for expansion.
- Place the tray in the freezer and let it sit for at least 240 minutes, or until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, gently twist the tray to release your fizzy star ice cubes. Serve them in a glass of lemonade, iced tea, or a refreshing soda.
Notes
Store leftover frozen ice cubes in a zip-top bag in the freezer for up to 1 month. Avoid refreezing once thawed to maintain texture. Experiment with different juice combinations and add herbs for a twist.
