Description

Delightful star-shaped ice cubes filled with fruity flavors that add flair to your beverages, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of your favorite fruit juice (like orange, cranberry, or pineapple)
  • 1 cup of sparkling water or lemon-lime soda
  • Fresh berries or citrus slices (optional, for garnish)
  • Star-shaped ice cube tray

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of fruit juice with 1 cup of sparkling water. Stir gently to maintain the fizz.
  2. If desired, add fresh berries or small citrus slices to the mixture for an extra burst of flavor.
  3. Carefully pour the juice mixture into the star-shaped ice cube tray, filling each mold about three-quarters full to allow for expansion.
  4. Place the tray in the freezer and let it sit for at least 240 minutes, or until completely frozen.
  5. Once frozen, gently twist the tray to release your fizzy star ice cubes. Serve them in a glass of lemonade, iced tea, or a refreshing soda.

Notes

Store leftover frozen ice cubes in a zip-top bag in the freezer for up to 1 month. Avoid refreezing once thawed to maintain texture. Experiment with different juice combinations and add herbs for a twist.
