Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • Optional: food coloring
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • A clear container or bowl
  • Stirring stick or spoon
  • Tray or surface to contain spills

Instructions

  1. Prepare your space by laying down old newspapers or a tray to catch spills.
  2. In the bowl, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
  3. If desired, add a couple of drops of food coloring to the baking soda and observe the colors.
  4. Measure out 1 cup of vinegar and slowly pour it over the baking soda, watching the fizzy reaction.
