Ingredients
- Baking soda
- White vinegar
- Liquid food coloring (various colors)

- Paintbrushes or droppers
- Thick paper or canvas
- Tray or surface to contain mess
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by laying down newspaper or a plastic tablecloth and arranging your materials.
- In a bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of water and stir until dissolved to create a thick paste.
- Use a paintbrush to spread the baking soda mixture onto your paper or canvas.
- In separate bowls, mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar with a few drops of liquid food coloring.
- Use a dropper or paintbrush to apply the colored vinegar onto the baking soda and listen for the fizzing reaction!
- Continue adding different colors for more fizz and let your artwork dry completely.
Notes
This project can get messy; prepare your workspace accordingly and enjoy! Customize colors and try adding glitter for extra fun.
