Description

A fun and refreshing craft recipe that combines fizzy science with delicious fruit flavors, perfect for all ages.

Ingredients

  • Fruit juice (your choice: orange, grape, apple, etc.)
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Star-shaped silicone molds
  • Whisk or spoon for mixing
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Straw or spoon for enjoying

Instructions

  1. Pour your chosen fruit juice into a bowl. If using, add a few drops of food coloring and mix well with the whisk.
  2. Carefully pour the juice mixture into the star-shaped molds, filling them about halfway. Place the molds in the freezer for at least 120-240 minutes or until fully frozen.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix one tablespoon of baking soda with two tablespoons of vinegar. Watch as the mixture fizzes!
  4. Once the juice stars are frozen solid, remove them from the molds. Place a frozen star in a bowl or cup, and pour the fizzy mixture over it. Enjoy!

Notes

You can try different types of juice or add pureed fruits for more texture. Consider using flavored soda instead of vinegar for a different fizz!
