Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • A large bowl or container
  • Measuring cups
  • A spoon for mixing
  • Optional: glitter or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Set up your workspace with a large bowl or container in a well-lit area and lay down newspapers for easy cleanup.
  2. In your bowl, pour in 1/2 cup of baking soda and add a pinch of glitter if desired.
  3. In a separate cup, combine 1 cup of white vinegar with several drops of food coloring.
  4. Slowly pour the vinegar mixture into the bowl with baking soda and observe the fizzing reaction.
  5. Gently stir the mixture with a spoon to blend the colors and note the changing scents and visuals.
