Ingredients

- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 10 oz. bag of mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Red and blue food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sprinkles (optional)
- Wax paper or parchment paper
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
- Divide the mixture into three bowls; add red food coloring to one bowl, blue to another, and leave the third bowl white.
- Add 2 cups of Rice Krispies cereal to each bowl and mix until coated.
- Layer the colored mixtures on a baking sheet lined with wax paper, pressing down gently.
- Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
- Cut into squares or fun shapes with a cookie cutter.
Notes
