Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- Food coloring (variety of colors)
- Flavoring extracts (e.g., cherry, lemon, blueberry)
- Cooking spray
- Baking sheet or pan
- Parchment paper

Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and corn syrup. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Attach a candy thermometer to the pot. Allow the mixture to boil without stirring, until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Once the desired temperature is reached, remove the pot from heat. Split the hot mixture into separate bowls, add food coloring and flavor extracts to each bowl, and mix well.
- Carefully pour the colored mixtures onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to swirl colors together for a marbled effect. Let it cool completely at room temperature.
- Once cooled, break the sugar into pieces and serve in a colorful container.
