Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Small cups or containers
  • Tray or large plate
  • Optional: glitter

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Area: Lay down newspaper or a plastic covering to protect your workspace and set up your tray.
  2. Mix the Base: In a small cup, add 2 tablespoons of baking soda and pour in food coloring.
  3. Create the Reaction: In another cup, mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar with more food coloring and slowly pour it onto the baking soda.
  4. Watch the Magic: Observe the fizzing reaction and enjoy the colorful eruptions.
  5. Finish Up: Allow the reaction to settle and sprinkle glitter on top for extra sparkle!
