Description

Experience the fun of science and art with this engaging Erupting Lemon Volcano project, perfect for kids and adults alike!


Ingredients

  • 2 Fresh Lemons
  • Baking Soda
  • White Vinegar
  • Food Coloring (optional)
  • Small Dish or Plate

  • S straw (optional for extra fun)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your Lemon: Cut the top off each lemon and squeeze slightly to loosen the insides.
  2. Create the Volcano Base: Place the lemons in a dish and optionally shape any remaining lemon peel into a volcano base.
  3. Add the Eruption Ingredients: Pour a few tablespoons of baking soda into each lemon, then add food coloring if desired.
  4. The Eruption: Pour vinegar into the lemon and watch the mixture fizz and bubble!
