Description

Transform ordinary egg cartons into charming turtles with this fun and eco-friendly craft project for kids, promoting creativity and recycling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 empty egg carton (preferably made from cardboard)
  • Green paint (or any color you prefer)
  • Paintbrushes
  • Googly eyes
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun (or glue)
  • Optional: Markers, sequins, or stickers for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Egg Carton: Flip the egg carton upside down and cut it into individual cups for each turtle shell.
  2. Paint the Turtle Shells: Coat the outside of each cup with green paint and allow it to dry completely (about 30 minutes).
  3. Add Details: Use markers or extra paint to create patterns on the turtle shells.
  4. Attach the Eyes: Glue googly eyes to the front of each turtle shell.
  5. Assemble the Turtles: Cut out legs and a head from leftover cardboard and glue them to the bottom of the cups.
