Description

Transform an everyday egg carton into an adorable turtle that inspires creativity and fine motor skills in kids.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 empty egg carton (six cups)
  • Green acrylic paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Googly eyes
  • Colorful paper (for decorations)
  • Markers or crayons

Instructions

  1. Cut the egg carton in half to create a base for the turtles and clean any residue.
  2. Paint the exterior of each cup green and let it dry completely.
  3. Cut pieces from the leftover egg carton for legs and a head; paint these green as well.
  4. Glue the head and legs onto the shell, and add googly eyes.
  5. Cut decorative patterns from colorful paper and glue them onto the shell; use markers or crayons for additional details.
