Description

Create your own fun and edible honey slime that offers a delightful sensory experience for kids.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • 1 tsp flavor extract (such as vanilla, almond, or fruit flavor)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon for stirring

Instructions

  1. Measure 1 cup of honey into a mixing bowl.
  2. Gradually incorporate 1 cup of cornstarch into the honey.
  3. Use a spoon to mix the honey and cornstarch thoroughly.
  4. If using food coloring, mix in a few drops until you reach your desired hue.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon of your favorite flavor extract and stir.
  6. Knead the mixture with clean hands for a few minutes until it becomes stretchy and soft.
  7. Store the edible honey slime in an airtight container at room temperature if not using immediately.

Notes

Customize flavors with different extracts and adjust the thickness with more cornstarch if the slime is too sticky. Edible glitter or small candies can be added for extra visual appeal.
