Ingredients

  • Clear gelatin (for creating the water effect)
  • Blue food coloring
  • Gummy fish or sea creatures
  • Crushed graham crackers (for sand)
  • Edible plants (like mint leaves or green gummies)
  • Clear cups or glass jars
  • Spoon for mixing and layering

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Gelatin:
    • Dissolve the gelatin mix in boiling water according to package instructions.
    • Stir in blue food coloring until you achieve the desired ocean hue.
  2. Layer the Base:
    • Fill the bottom of the cups/jars with a layer of crushed graham crackers to create a sandy base.
    • Allow the base to set for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator until firm.
  3. Create the Aquarium Water:
    • Pour the prepared blue gelatin into the cups over the sandy base. Fill until just below the rim.
    • Refrigerate for another hour or until the gelatin is fully set.
