- Spoon for mixing and layering
Instructions
- Prepare the Gelatin:
- Dissolve the gelatin mix in boiling water according to package instructions.
- Stir in blue food coloring until you achieve the desired ocean hue.
- Layer the Base:
- Fill the bottom of the cups/jars with a layer of crushed graham crackers to create a sandy base.
- Allow the base to set for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator until firm.
- Create the Aquarium Water:
- Pour the prepared blue gelatin into the cups over the sandy base. Fill until just below the rim.
- Refrigerate for another hour or until the gelatin is fully set.
- Decorate Your Aquarium:
- Place gummy fish and other sea creatures in the gelatin.
- Add edible plants as decoration, mimicking aquatic plants found in nature.
