Description
Create a stunning vase adorned with pressed flowers to bring a touch of nature into your home.
Ingredients
- Fresh flowers (thin petals work best, like daisies or pansies)
- Pressing materials (heavy books or a flower press)
- Clear glass vase
- Mod Podge or clear-drying glue
- Paintbrush (for applying glue)
- Tweezers (optional, for placing flowers)
- Scissors
Instructions
- Select fresh, thin-petaled flowers and snip the stems to about 1-2 inches long.
- Place your flowers between parchment paper or in a flower press and stack heavy books on top.
- Leave to press for about 7-10 days until flat and dry.
- Wash and dry your glass vase thoroughly.
- Experiment with different arrangements using tweezers to place the flowers artfully inside the vase.
- Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the flowers and gently press them against the glass. Allow to dry completely before displaying.
