Description

Craft your very own DIY bubble blower for a fun-filled experience with friends and family. This easy project is perfect for creating captivating bubbles during outdoor play.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Plastic bottle (empty, such as a water or soda bottle)
  • 1 pair of Scissors
  • String or yarn (about 2-3 feet)
  • 1 cup of Dish soap
  • 6 cups of Water
  • 1 tablespoon of Glycerin (optional, for larger bubbles)
  • 1 Bowl or container for bubble solution

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bottle: Cut the plastic bottle in half using scissors. Discard the top half or save it for another craft project.
  2. Create the Bubble Wands: Cut a length of string or yarn (about 2-3 feet). Tie the ends of the string around the bottom of the bottle.
  3. Make the Bubble Solution: In a bowl or container, mix 1 cup of dish soap with 6 cups of water. For added strength, add 1 tablespoon of glycerin and stir gently to avoid bubbles.
  4. Dip and Blow: Dip the string wand into the solution, allowing it to soak. Slowly pull it out, then gently blow through the open end to create bubbles.

Notes

For giant bubbles, use a larger bottle and longer string. Add essential oils for scented bubbles or food coloring for colorful bubbles.
