Description

A delightful and versatile creamy mixture perfect as a dip or spread, made with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (or your favorite herb)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and mayonnaise. Stir until well blended and creamy.
  2. Squeeze in the lemon juice for a refreshing zest. Sprinkle in the garlic and onion powder.
  3. Add the dried dill and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more lemon juice or herbs for extra zing.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to develop.

Notes

Try using flavored yogurt for a unique twist or add fresh herbs for added freshness. This goop can be made a day ahead and lasts 3-5 days in the refrigerator.
