- White vinegar
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Small containers or cups
- A soft surface for bouncing (like a carpet or grass)
Instructions
- Carefully place the eggs in a clean container and pour vinegar over them to fully submerge.
- Leave the eggs in vinegar for 24-48 hours until the shells dissolve and become translucent.
- Remove the eggs and rinse them under cool water, then prepare small cups with food coloring mixed with water.
- Submerge the eggs in the colored solutions for about 30 minutes.
- Allow the eggs to dry on a soft surface and gently bounce to see how high they go!
Notes
Customize colors by mixing food coloring or try using plastic eggs for a mess-free option. This activity makes a great group competition for creating colorful designs.
