Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 empty plastic water bottle (clear)
  • Warm water
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Vegetable oil
  • Small funnel (optional)
  • Glitter (optional)
  • Soap (optional for extra bubbles)

Instructions

  1. Start with the water: Fill the plastic water bottle about a quarter full with warm water.
  2. Add colors: Using the funnel, add 5-10 drops of different food coloring into the bottle.
  3. Carefully pour vegetable oil into the bottle until it is nearly full.
  4. Sprinkle in some glitter for extra sparkle and effect!
  5. Shake the bottle gently to activate your water bottle fireworks.
  6. Set the bottle down and watch the colors settle back for another round.
