Description

Create a magical under-the-sea snow globe with colorful sea creatures and glitter, perfect for home decor or a thoughtful gift.

Ingredients

  • Clear glass or plastic jar with a tight-sealing lid
  • A small ocean-themed figurine (e.g., fish, mermaid, starfish)
  • Water
  • Glycerin (to slow down the glitter’s descent)
  • Glitter (blue, silver, or any combination)
  • Super glue or hot glue gun
  • Optional: Food coloring (blue or green)

Instructions

  1. Attach the figurine to the inside of the lid using super glue or a hot glue gun.
  2. Mix water and glycerin in a 3:1 ratio, adding food coloring if desired.
  3. Pour glitter into the jar.
  4. Carefully fill the jar with the glycerin and water mixture.
  5. Wipe the rim and screw the lid back on tightly.
  6. Gently shake your snow globe to enjoy the swirling glitter.

Notes

For a glowing effect, add glow-in-the-dark paint to the figurine.
