Description

An engaging and fun craft project for children, turning ordinary toilet paper rolls into colorful monsters that spark creativity and imaginative play.

Ingredients

  • Toilet paper rolls
  • Craft paint (various colors)
  • Googly eyes
  • Construction paper
  • Glue (craft glue or hot glue gun)
  • Scissors
  • Markers or crayons
  • Optional: yarn, feathers, fabric scraps for decoration

Instructions

  1. Gather your toilet paper rolls and ensure they are clean and dry. Decide how tall or short you want your monsters to be.
  2. Let kids pick their favorite colors from the craft paint and apply it to the outer surface of the rolls, using brushes or sponges. Allow drying time (10-15 minutes should suffice).
  3. Once dry, cut out shapes from construction paper for mouths, ears, and any special features. Glue on the chosen features and googly eyes.
  4. Add extra touches using markers or crayons for details like antennae and patterns. Incorporate yarn for hair or feathers for a fluffy look.
  5. Once everything is glued and dry, display your new creations or incorporate them into playtime.

Notes

Supervise younger children with scissors and glue. Use alternative materials for different textures and creative variations.
