Description

Make your own glowing bounce balls at home with simple materials. Perfect for family projects that combine science and fun!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup of white school glue
  • 1/4 cup of borax powder
  • Optional: Glow-in-the-dark paint or powder
  • Optional: Food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Rubber gloves
  • Plastic storage container

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of cornstarch. Stir until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup of white school glue with 1/4 cup of borax powder until a thick paste forms.
  3. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the glue mixture and stir until thick and dough-like.
  4. Add food coloring or glow-in-the-dark paint if desired. Knead with gloved hands.
  5. Shape into small balls using your hands.
  6. Place the balls on a paper towel to dry for a few hours.

Notes
