Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup citric acid
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Epsom salt
  • 23 tablespoons water
  • 1015 drops of your favorite essential oil
  • Silicone molds (preferably in fun shapes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Gather all materials on a clean, flat surface in a well-ventilated area.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and Epsom salt. Mix until well blended.
  3. Add Essential Oils: Create a small well in the center of the dry mixture. Add essential oil and mix gently.
  4. Add Water Gradually: Add water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  5. Mold the Steamers: Pack the mixture tightly into silicone molds and press down firmly.
  6. Let Them Dry: Allow steamers to dry for at least 24 hours on a flat surface before removing from molds.
  7. Store and Enjoy: Store in an airtight container and use by placing one in the corner of your shower.
