Create a stunning and imaginative miniature ocean scene in a bottle for decoration or gifting.
Ingredients
- A clean, empty glass bottle with a cork or lid
- Blue food coloring (optional)
- Water
- Sand (white, brown, or colored)
- Small shells or sea-themed figurines
- Glitter (optional)
- A spoon for stirring
- Funnel (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your bottle by cleaning and drying it thoroughly.
- Fill the bottle about halfway with water and add a few drops of blue food coloring.
- Using a funnel (optional), pour in a layer of sand at the bottom of the bottle.
- Place small seashells or figurines in the sand.
- Carefully pour in more water, filling the bottle to just below the neck.
- Insert the cork or lid tightly to seal the bottle.
- If desired, add a layer of glitter on top of the water.
- Gently shake the bottle and let it settle before displaying.
Notes
Consider using colorful sand or larger bottles for more vibrant designs. You can also add lights for a stunning effect.
