Description

A fun DIY project to create fragrant aroma stones that enhance your home decor and serve as thoughtful gifts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons essential oil (your choice)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Silicone molds
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda and cornstarch. Stir until evenly mixed.
  2. Slowly pour in the white vinegar. Mix until combined.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of your chosen essential oil and stir well.
  4. If using food coloring, add a few drops and stir until desired color is achieved.
  5. Spoon the mixture into silicone molds, packing it down to ensure they hold their shape.
  6. Allow the aroma stones to dry for 24-48 hours, until completely hardened.
  7. Gently pop the stones out of the molds and let them cure for an additional day.
  8. Place the scented aroma stones around your home or gift them to friends.
